To add to this, they will sacrifice any of their own to protect this thought. If one of their own is captured he was never one of them to begin with etc. This is what happens when a “group” is formed from people that care only for themselves. And since their typical members and supporters are too stupid to look into deeper detail, if any of these “captured leftists” get released and rejoin the cause no one will bat an eye until they get captured again.
