To America, that is- the rest of the world would be certainly scarred too, but the Yanks would be going down. And even if things got as bad as what was done to North Korea by the Americans- frankly I can’t claim I’d be overly saddened, so long as the indigenous, minority, and leftist, anti-imperialist communities were left largely alone.
Answer it would basically be Korea but worse.
At least the DPRK has supporters. In this scenario, the USA is on their own.
