Die Zahl der Insolvenzen in Deutschland ist laut dem Forschungsinstitut IWH im März auf einen Rekordwert gestiegen. Noch nie seit Beginn der Erhebung im Januar 2016 gab es mehr Firmenpleiten.

    Logically, empires always cannibalize their colonies and protectorates whenever their usefulness is outlived. We’re going to see a bunch of the imperial core go into massive recessions in the next decade… and coincidentally that wealth will be transferred to the US to face off against the PRC.

    A good example was Japan falling on the sword with the Plaza Accord because the US didn’t want to share the limelight since they knew the USSR was about to be illegally dismantled.

      For sure, and this could be a radicalizing moment for Europe. The kind of drop in standard of living that’s coming hasn’t happened in living memory there.
