War can create peace, it is precisely this dialectical opposition the reason we Marxists say violence has a role, but this is the war of the imperialists, not the proletariat.
Scholz said that “supporting Ukraine” in other words supporting Ukraine’s continued war against Russia, prolonging war, is crucial for peace.
Marxists are for defensive wars against capitalists and imperial powers, but a revolution is the preferable way of achieving power. If every country’s proletariat stood up to their bourgeoisie, there wouldn’t be imperialists/capitalists to fight wars against.
