“lured by annual salaries of around £240,000”

There’s a straightforward way to not get your top talent lured away for money: guaranteed housing, healthcare, education, pension, etc, and for veterans – guaranteed employment after leaving the military service.

Still, £240k is a tidy sum.

But actually not that much considering how much effort goes into propaganda around fighting for one’s country.

If there was a war between the UK and China, and China get an advantage from this, the UK is going to feel pretty embarrassed that China only had to pay £8.4m (per year) for the betrayal.

Almost like the capitalists are creating the conditions that communist states can exploit, to the eventual detriment of the capitalists.

But if a NATO country did the same thing it wouldn’t be a big deal. How many years have they been peddling this narrative of China destroying the world?

Sometimes the easiest way to gain intel is the simplest.
