If someone is willing to sacrifice Palestinians to win an election, they will just as soon sacrifice trans people or anyone else the moment it becomes convenient. If today it’s “But Trump would genocide even more Palestinians, so you have to vote for the guy genociding them,” then tomorrow they could just as easily say the same about trans people, or any other group.
Solidarity across race, gender, nationality, etc is the only real long term strategy for survival for trans people. I’d rather die maintaining that solidarity than survive slightly longer selling comrades down the river and knowing I’m next.

And instead of taking a bold stand for what’s right, Democrats are trying to equal and even exceed the racism of the Republicans because they think to do otherwise will cost them votes. Should LGBTQ rights become less popular among certain demographics, why should we believe the Democrats will act any different than they are now with the border?
