    It’s very hard to say. For an extreme example, if they have fully autonomous robots that can do everything for them including defense and have them in huge enough numbers it would be hard to do something against them. But in reality it would take time until they have these things and the robots would take the jobs of a lot of people before that, possibily leading to a revolution, before they have this much power.

    But if we were talking more about surveilance then there are ways around it, specially during a revolution, like disrupting power and internet. Also, these things need to be produced and used, so dealing with the factories or taking them down when on the streets it’s also possible.

    The biggest problem I would say is fake news/control of social media making the situation unclear and giving an upper hand to those in power, but depending on the place they might not be able to go too against social media as they might have a lot of power.

    So in any case they should make it harder, at first at least, but might not be as hard as a competent capitalist goverment could make things.
