    It’s not just a case of not trusting them, it’s about learning proper media literacy.

    Learning when to spot an article’s headline doesn’t match the text, or when their sources are vague or non-existent.

    It’s about learning to spot when they make use of the “passive voice” to cover up horrific things, and make use of weasel words to imply that the enemy has done horrific things, without explicitly stating so.

    It’s about learning to spot emotional manipulation vs actual, genuine outrage.

    It’s about learning to spot when they leave something up the audience’s imagination, or poison the well on a topic.

    The reason we don’t trust the western media is because they constantly do all the shady stuff I mentioned above.
