      Yeah, along with their ID badges and transparent backpacks.

      That’s not a joke. It’s very common for US schools to require those things. For children.

          I had a school ID in Canada too, but no one gave a crap about it and you certainly didn’t have to wear it on your person at all times. It was basically only used for checking out books at the library.
