I don’t expect Jews (assuming that this snob is a Jewish adult, which I’ll admit is a very generous assumption on my part) to know everything about their kindred, but man, what a snotty thing to say. Barminam!

Linguists widely recognize Ladino as a language with centuries of history and not a conlang that Ayjan invented a few days ago. Admittedly it is much commoner these days for us to write Ladino in the Latin alphabet (a trend inspired by the Turkish orthography reform), but the Hebrew alefbet is still valid and Folkmasa helpfully provides the Hebraic script for every word.

That’s the easiest way to also not only point out gusanos and impostors, but also prove yourself to idiots who think “Pfff, a polish communist? I’m supposed to believe that? :smuglord:”

Truly a great tool, just ask them to speak the language.

Polish reactionaries think they know better because they’re Polish. You could have them read Das Kapital in its entirety, but they’ll still go “I am Polish, therefore it is moot”
