I get the impression that very few political decisions in Poland are made without say so from the US. The fact that Poland is all of a sudden cooling off on supporting Ukraine almost certainly coincides with US decision to wind down the war.
Poland is violating EU decision by this though, US clearly said it’s Poland right, so this is a sign of support for Poland against EU, consistent with longstanding US politics of sowing division in the EU.
Btw. USA supports Polish decision on the grain embargo.

As I’ve read through this article, I feel like USA just abstained from judging Poland, instead of supporting it. I may be wrong
