IMO, HBO’s “Chernobyl” is basically propaganda in the theme of “REEE Soviets bad! Look at how close they came to destroying the world!” But did they actually?
Thunderf00t is definitely not perfect and there’s a lot of stuff he posts I disagree with (his criticism of feminism stuff and “SJW” stuff, not to mention general anticommunism/anti-USSR), but IMO his science stuff is still pretty good.

Whereas in Britian at a nuclear fuel for bomb refinement plant the government did actually cover up a probable level 5 nuclear disaster and their response was to only chuck out some milk. So much for secret governments are bad!
