    Just got permanently banned from /r/worldnews by posting this. Reason given was that the article was from 2019. Not sure why that alone would warrant a permanent ban, but I guess I should just trust the benevolent, objective moderators.

      Because you are attempting to break the narrative they wish to push. Giving you a reason at all is just paying you lip service. The US has an imperialist agenda, but it pushes all sorts of nonsense regarding freedom or democracy. Same thing here.

      Yeah, worldnews will ban you for any pro China posts. I got banned from there as well on some flimsy pretext for posting positive news about China.
