So, the last week was very good for me.

I did three strength work out focussing mostly on upper body. Weighted push ups have been a great discovery for me because I 1) like to do them and 2) it is so far having a great effect on how my chest looks.

I also continued my runs. I did my second run of 4.5km run on sunday. I started off pretty quick with 5min25sec per km and I managed to slow down to an average of 6min11sec per km. I feel like with a good amount of training I will be able to set very decent times. To keep myself motivated I have registered myself for a 7km trail run next month and I might do a half marathon in october if I’m feeling up to it.

I also keep doing the cold showers, but it’s been chilly over heel lately, lots of rain as well. It makes getting into the shower a bit more challenging, but afterwards it feels much better than in hit weather. It really feels as if all my senses are activated.

I have not been doing as much cardio as I could possibly do, but tbf it’s kinda cold (it shouldn’t be this cold where I am during August 🥴). I’d like to go swimming sometime in the coming weeks when it gets warmer, but I have been going to the gym about… 3-4 times a week. Last I did chest and it was moving pretty smooth! I feel like I’m ready to rep out 45 and a 10 now…4x6…hopefully…

Swimming is great. I wish I was able to go swimming more often, especially in nature. But I live in the city and the swimming pools are a bit too far away unfortunately.

Good on you for hitting the gym so often. I hope you can keep up the progress, comrade.

So far, two 25m HIIT workouts, and 2 other days devoted to arms and chest. I’m still doing my PAI routine to maintain my cardio, and that’s been solid for weeks… But I could def use some improvements for upper body days. GL on that 7k run, those can be fun to train for.

How do you do weighted push ups btw?

I read that as PLA routine and was like ‘damn that’s the tankiest shit ever’ lol

I just add weight in a backpack as a true professional. I may need to look for a weighted vest or something.
