Everyday I am thankful I wasn’t born the states.
Beautiful place, lots of federal land to go camping and hiking in. But the people are crazy.

Wouldn’t be able to say, but I do know some right-wing Polish-Americans who are at a whole new level of insane. Very into traditional Polish culture, which is fine, but also “Russians are evil barbarians who took my grandma’s farm away back in 1945 and they all need to be exterminated.” You can’t talk to them for five minutes without this coming up.
It’s like whatever national-chauvinist craziness they already had met Americ*n national-chauvinist craziness and produced an unholy monster of crypto-fascist fuckery.
