Mine is probably Sekiro. I really dislike the story being about feudal Japan and the main character being the grunt for a privileged asshole but the combat and bosses are so good. I don’t think any game will ever top that.

To see how good the game is, compare it to J*di Knight: Fallen Order, which is essentially meant to be a clone of Sekiro but is so lacklustre in comparison.

favourite of all time is hard to put my finger on. There’s been a hell of a lot of games I’ve enjoyed deeply over the many years of playing them, but there’s only been a small handful I’ll often return to almost yearly. Sims 3, HOI4, and GTA3.

yeah singling one out is not easy. if i hadn’t played sekiro i would have had a hard time too between bloodborne, dark souls 3, mgs4.

edit: among indies: hollow knight, celeste, owlboy.

GTA is timeless, I found out recently that GTA5 online has a roleplaying community that just voice chats and lives out the lives of their characters. The graphics are so good, and people are just completely immersed. they even have VR now. It’s wild

I’m aware of the GTA roleplay servers, that shit’s wild. I forget channel names, but there’s a couple of decently sized youtubers that only ever do GTA roleplay.

and as someone who has played DnD im not judging, it’s just so unusual to me. I first found this on twitch, a streamer doing GTA RP with ~20k viewers! GTA was the shoot 'em up crime game for me, but they were being civilized :grinning face with smiling eyes:

I honestly love everything roleplay, and thankfully the gaming world never ceases to amaze with what games they’ll turn into roleplays.
