Ya notifications from tagging aren’t working yet, but you can at least autocomplete users with @ and communities with #, so like /u/Farmer_Heck and /c/communism.
You might want to enforce the use of a single emoji font for better cross-platform compatibility. For instance I cannot see flags on my current setup. I’d recommend Twemoji which Discord uses, or maybe JoyPixels.
