They don’t care because ‘trump will kill more’ is the logic. They have done a mental trick where they convince themselves they aren’t voting ‘for genocide’, they’re voting ‘against Tcump’. They refuse to accept that they are just doing the good old ‘ends justify the means’ calculus, and instead claim ‘harm reduction’

As Malcom X said: ‘The White liberal is the worst enemy to America’

Like how is Trump going to genocide worse? They acknowledge Harris is doing genocide, and then say Trump will be worse, and it’s like… EVERYONE IS GONNA BE FUCKING DEAD YOU CAN’T DO WORSE THAN EVERYONE IS DEAD.

I probably need to log off I’m going to need to log off for the night.

Literally heard them say “Trump will let them use nukes”

        And it’s like

You know why they usually genocide people?

        To take their stuff!

They’re not going to nuke them, they want the land!

Also, the wind from the Mediterranean would blow the fallout from a Gaza nuke directly to the east. The reason people have nukes is to attack countries on the other side of the world, not their neighbors. Multiple Hiroshima’s worth of conventional bombs have already been dropped since 10/7…

This is one of the reasons I’m a little worried for Yemen. They’re exactly the sort of target the Israeli government might consider dropping nukes on. A relatively distant country that’s been a major pain in their ass, which they have no intention of invading, and which wouldn’t be a fallout issue for them.

Ah yes a nuke would be so much worse than the… thousands of bombs currently being thrown at refugee camps internet-delenda-est
I do believe Israel would do it though. Yes it is incredibly stupid, only something someone with a babys understanding of the world would even consider, but then again… It’s Israel.

The question I always wonder is, even if Trump’s genocide would be worse, do you think the Palestinian people care about the degree to which they’re being genocided?

Trump loves money. One of the best ways best way for him to get more money once in power is increasing our military spending on Israel aid, that’s the “but worse” part. In what world do you think he’d do the inverse of maintaining his power? There’s a reason the military industrial complex wants him in power

        From a .world account

Trump’s money, whatever he has, is all in real estate, isn’t it? Like this is silly libshit but it’s not even vaguely true afaik. Trump doesn’t know shit about the MIC and afaik the military brass, DoD, and MIC execs don’t like him.

Literally yes, in 2019 i think when entire USA pushed for the war with Iran, then they backed off in last moment, but Bolton didn’t get the memo and was sacked for poor reflex in being a warhawk. Funniest thing came later when he wrote a very salty book in which he accused Trump of multiple instances of being unamerican like stopping from attacking Iran, knowing on map where China is, having a common sense to not blindly attack it though entire Pacific, cooling out some Holdens rep senators and such

The republicans are the party of the petite bourgeois who are generally more isolationist than neolibs. They support Israel for culture war reasons but if supporting actually started hurting their boat dealerships they’d start calling Trump to redirect aid to building more border walls.

‘trump will kill more’ is the logic

We don’t actually know what will happen with Trump. He is a petty, dumb, narcissist who acts like a weather vane for his advisors. He could decide to drop a nuke on the region, or he could get triggered by something on Twitter and decide to stop all arms to get back at Netanyahu.

We know what the Democrats will do. They’re doing it now. Acting so sad while pouring truckloads of money into the kid crushing machine.

This isn’t an endorsement of Trump, lurkers. Vote 3rd party or leave President blank. Neither major candidate earned your vote.

      ‘trump will kill more’

It hurts when people who should be smart use this line.

It won’t matter because nobody will know. Trump and Kamala aren’t going to be President at the same time.

If Trump wins, any deaths will be said to be his fault and an imagined Kamala presidency wouldn’t have let THAT many die. If Kamala wins any number of dead Palestinians will be less than the amount that an imagined Trump presidency would have been responsible for.

There’s a scene in the tv show The Shield where its explained that a method of tricking a polygraph is to simply envision another question in your mind and answer that instead of the one presented.

That’s what this feels like from liberals. They’ve erased the thing out loud (they are currently supporting a genocide) and replaced it with something in their head (they are opposing Trump). Except they keep saying the Trump part out loud as a counter to the genocide part.

They are putting palestinians in concentration camps right now and burying them in mass graves. Somehow the extermination of the palestinian people will be more exterminationy under Trump. Do you not understand what is going on or do you not understand what a genocide is? The answer is of course neither: You do know what is going on and you either support it or just do not give a shit about brown people. But at least say that, instead of having us pretend like it’s anything else.
At least republicans have the decency not to pretend to be human.

        Wow… its like… yesterday’s don’t exist.

Dems could have spent the last 50 years or so trying to codify Roe as a fucking law but were too cowardly to do any more than hide behind a Supreme Court decision formulated on “privacy” instead of “medical care” all the while fundraising off of the threat that the forced birth crowd and Republicans are gonna take away abortion services every few years there is an election cycle.

        And guess what happened?

Roe was overturned by the Supreme Court packed by right wingers who spent the last 50 years working towards this goal.
