I really don’t know what to make of such claims. Either NATO is way, way weaker then everyone thought or they are trying to BS their way into justifying their own Operation Barbarossa 2.0. Or maybe it’s just more brainrot that there is no use in trying to make sense of.

Probably this. There’s countless signs, from the France disarming line units to send weapons to Ukraine, through UK navy and army not having ammo and missiles, German army being in such shambles they can’t even repair their own tanks to US losing naval operation against country with no navy. Even their numbers are worse than ever, there’s maybe like half million combat personnel in entire EU and their ability to organise operations across the militaries are probably utter shit. Even their supply lines would be in shambles.
Now, other thing this is telling us that they certainly don’t believe in at least one of their simultaneous pushed stances that Russia is either so weak that it will collapse or so strong it will invade entire Europe (or knowing that in fact both are false as is the reality).
Last possiblity is that entire political and military structures of NATO already turned into zombie with a rotten White House brain that is increasingly closer to “Après nous, le déluge” in which case we’re fucked and nothing will change that. I hope this is not what will happen, but honestly EU political situation is pointing on exactly that.
