There is r/meth. A subreddit LITERALLY dedicated to meth, a dangerous addictived substances. And then theres r/GenUsa, subreddit that actually advocates to bomb brown children and supports us imperialism. Reddit quarantined soon-banned r/GenZedong. But not banned r/GenUsa and r/meth.
Srsly fuck reddit
This. Reddit doesn’t matter in the end. The amount of weird shit that gets posted on Belgian subreddits by right wing lunatics is not a reflection of society at all. You could get in fights over the most trivial shit over there.
Meanwhile in real life people are much more balanced and willing to listen to my talking points. You have to keep in mind that online social boards often attract a certain type of miserable people who are terminally online.
You didn’t have to call me out.
But to be serious: me quitting all forms of social media except some to keep in touch with those I know in real life, and to follow some news, has done a lot in improving my mental health and ridding myself of misanthropy.
Does that include Lemmygrad? On a personal note, I’m trying to reduce my time here a bit. I quit Reddit and Instagram because the people suck and it’s addictive, but I missed the memes. There are sadly not enough memes on here, so I look for them on discord. Both of these are still a little too addictive. I really wish I could have an RSS Instagram feed, but of course Meta sucks and cares about their “intellectual property.”
