I mean afaik most Slavs he had personal contact with have been people from Bakunin circle, that is panslavic anarchists of which many were even literal aristocrats, so i wouldn’t be surprised if he did not had very good opinion of them.
I would love to see Engels’reaction to this considering his opinion about slavs.

TBH I vaugely recall him having poor opinion on slavs, but now that you mention it I can’t remember where I read it.
