the big problem with the American “revolution” is that it had reactionary interests, and it was by done by settlers in a colonial state for their own settler interests.
However, if one were generally refer to it as, say the “French Revolution”, or even “Glorious Revolution”, I’d say fine by me, though the “Haitian revolution” or any non-ML national liberation movement beats most of em all for its righteous cause…
