Ya know, I went to see about the Russian officials, because I could’ve sworn some of those were bound to blabber some silliness - someone like Zhirik. So far it seems mostly giggles about Alaska, but there was this bit from Medvedev:

This is from 2022-23 new year “prediction”, that was done in response (and in mockery) of predictions made by western politicians.
Well i can see where that came from, Texas separatism is a thing, i guess New Mexico will come with them, and when shit will hit the fan California will probably be the first rat to run off the ship.
