My guess is that they’re so desperate for a mainstream politician who isn’t complete barf that they’ll root for social democratic chumps like Sanders and AOC until the end.
Our people need to lose their faith in the pseudodemocracy before they stop betting on these grossly inadequate candidates, and you can’t force that. Try not to be too hard on yourself; the circumstances are largely out of our control.
