Of course all political parties are disgusting in liberal democracies but there are some that just are insane.

In Mexico it has to be PAN, they’re your usual latin american conservative party. Elitists, very catholic, racists, malinchistas ( they hate mexico and its culture ). Right now they’re going insane because a former secretary of national security was declared guilty off collaborating with drug cartels in a US jury ( they idolize the US so this is funny af )

I live in Germany. Some people have good arguments why the most disgusting political party would be the AfD, CDU/CSU, FDP, or the SPD. I think it is the Green Party. Originally founded as an anti-nuclear movement as part of the Hippie scene, it eventually gained traction and became part of the federal and some state governments. While they campaigned for the last election on a platform of pacifism, economic justice, replacing coal power, affordable housing and public transit, and climate change mitigation, they went back on each and every one of their promises. Granted, they are but one of three parties in the ruling “traffic light” coalition, but they are the second biggest one of them and effectively have veto power everywhere.

Not only are they spineless transatlantic lobbyists and turncoats against the will of their voters, but they are stupid as well, which is much more dangerous. The two Greens at the top are only a case study of all the ones voted into positions of power: Robert Habeck, our foreign minister, is one of the architects of Europe’s trade war against Russia - first they boot out nuclear power, then they kill the gas supply. The “solution” is American LNG obtained through fracking, and it is going to cost everyone 20-30% more. Annalena Baerbock - who is supposed to represent us on the national stage and might become the next chancellor - has many problems including resumé padding, failing to disclose supplementary incomes, the foreign ministry spending six figures a year on her makeup, as well as mistakenly declaring war on Russia in January. But thankfully, she also has a humorous side: On the recent Munich security conference, she invited Putin to do a pirouette (“turn 360 degrees”)

Don’t forget Baerbock being a US think-tank creation, being both involved with the German Marshall Fund and Davos Young Global Leaders initiative.

I also agree that the German Greens are currently the worst party in German politics. Especially with Baerbock you really get the feeling that US neocon thinktanks are talking through her mouth. There’s also a certain amount of condescension or arrogance I sense from them, like “we are the original environmentalists and anti-nuke activists, you’d better take us seriously on these issues.”

They are the biggest hypocrites when it comes to the environment, they made us abandon nuclear energy in favor of coal and now they ditched Russian pipeline gas in favor of US LNG which is not only more expensive, it also has a way bigger carbon footprint because it needs to be shipped via tankers all the way across an ocean. They literally do the exact opposite of what they claim they stand for. And of course not a single mention of the fact that militaries, especially the US one are among the biggest polluters on the planet, yet they are in a frenzy calling for re-armament.
