Wagner PMC advanced north and west of Klischiivka. Reports indicate that key fortifications to the immediate north of the village have been taken, and attacks on Ivanivske began(along the western highway into Bakhmut). Wagner offensives also reported towards multiple villages to the west of Klischiivka, with Russian gains at least up to the road-line there. Wagner also made small advance from Pidhorodne to the northern areas of Bakhmut, which are now being attacked. Klischiivka was liberated I think. Even yankees are telling Ukronazis to retreat and leave Bakhmut.

Russian attacks along the whole Frontline in Zaporizhia. Multiple villages were liberated, and a Russian advance of several kilometers. Reports of fighting near the crucial logistics hub/town of Orikhiv, as well as reports of Russian offensives further east towards Hulyaipole. Finally the frontline has changed, it’s been half a year.

I hope that offensive will continue and whole Zaporizhzia Oblast will finally be liberated. I hope that Bakhmut be finished until the end of January-early February.

Comrade, I swear, you sound like you’re parroting Syomin sometimes…

First, the gruesome truth - as comrade PolandIsAStateOfMind here said, they’re used as assault troops. Not a whole lot will return alive.

Secondly, Wagner is picky - no sex offenders, for example. Discipline might be even better than in regular army (I’ll return to this). Sure, I can’t know that, but it’s an educated guess and circumstantial evidence is strong with this one. Rules about unnecessary cruelty in any sort of armed forces are there because it’s very bad for discipline. If Wagner has problems with discipline, I don’t know how the fuck they keep advancing for months where the fighting is heaviest.

Thirdly, I don’t know about you, but I don’t hear a lot of praise for our prisons as rehabilitation centers. I unironically put my money on the survivors from Wagner being more decent and orderly after that crash course in discipline (also, they have a salary and the survivors after half a year get the bonus and a ticket home, so it’s not like they’re sent back into poverty) than they would’ve been if they served their sentences. Worst case (besides untreated PTSR) they are gonna be about as much pain in the ass as any other former convict. Also, what is your problem with soldiers (not only Wagner) coming back to find shitty bureaucrats? Seems like a good environment for our propaganda to me.

And now about your original problem. No need to look for conspiracies, really. Mercs are a thing, because they’re more effective on a tactical level, due to bourgeois state’s army inevitably getting bogged down in bureaucracy, careerism and corruption. Theirs is the only part of the frontline where shit’s been moving of late, but the regular army’s been repelling assaults all over the place after the fallbacks, those news are just blending into the background at this point.

Oh, I didn’t mean to imply that. You wouldn’t be writing ~13.3 comments a day here if you were=)
