South Africa tried to use the people of Gaza as legal human shields to protect Hamas’ crimes.
By supporting Hamas, South Africa itself is in violation of the anti genocide convention!

Hamas is using me as a human shield right now, actually.
This has some real “peaked in high school” energy about it.
Like the guy who was captain of their high school footy team and always has to relate everything back to that one time they won the big game. It’s like using “human shields” as a deflection of criticism worked once for Israel, so they’ve been coasting on it ever since, and have used it every time.
