There are tons of articles about how rape culture is pervasive in the US military (and I’m guessing in many other militaries too). But they are often presented as a collection of tragic anecdotes rather recognising the military as the wholly monstrous entity that it is.
It got so bad they started the SAPR program to give the appearance that something is being done. Granted, I’m not sure how effective it is but I know that they often confuse weirdos with no social skills with sexual predators.
