    They’re equating the DPRK with imperial Japan, when Kim-Il-Sung and the communists were the main guerilla force fighting the Japanese! Meanwhile the people who lead the south were collaborating with japan, then the US / MacArthur.

    Redditors require a high-level of historical-illiteracy to function.
