    He didn’t write much, but he has hundreds of pages of speeches with some fairly unique analyses. Cuban delegations to international orgs (UN, NAM, etc) also reveal a unique approach taken by the Cubans in terms of foreign policy.

    Like you say, there is no “Castroism,” it’s just Leninism, but the Cubans did diverge significantly from soviet doctrine in terms of international relations (and in my opinion they carved out probs the best approach to the non-aligned countries).

    I’ve also heard that Fidel had a different approach to the vanguard party, but idk much about that. I’d have to see in his speeches where he talks about it.
