I’ll just paste a comment I replied to one of these people with in another thread a while back when they tried to compare the MAGAcommunism movement to the Cultural Revolution (or specifically Down to the Countryside) and Chinese patriotism. They do this often:

‘You are seeing a small amount of similarity and using it to make an enormous reach. Converting the countryside and uniting the divided left in America is based but doing it under the slogan of an anti-communist billionaire’s political campaign is not. I live in MAGA territory. Everyone here hates Democrats with a passion and so do I. I spend all day talking to normal people here who are naturally mostly MAGA and I do what little I can to educate but I do not, under any circumstances, try to “renconcile”. Educating the backwards sections of the working class is a good thing, insofar as it educates and agitates them; not pulling us into backwardsness (tailism), but pulling them into forwardness. The working and oppressed people are innately forward-oriented, and endowed with class consciousness. Our purpose is to get them back on their feet, clear the mist from their eyes, and unlock what’s already within. This “innateness” is not the result of some metaphysical force, but rather the natural material result of social and economic conditions. That’s why it’s so reliably there, and if you know how to agitate, you can get reliable results. Backwardness among the workers and oppressed is not an innate thing, it is inherently metaphysical. It relies on a latticework of hodge-podged superstitions, wrong ideas, and fear. It’s never consistent, never reliable. This is also why fascism relies so heavily on syncretism. There is no reconciling fascism with Communism — all that gets you is bigger fascism. Hitler showed us this. He had some “patriotic socialist” supporters and what came of them? Night of the Long Knives.’

These people are very good at distorting and misconstruing the works of Marx, Engels and Lenin by pulling quotes out of context, misinterpreting them and sticking to it in a completely dogmatic fashion. They also completely subscribe to fanaticism and Great Man Theory. They’re opportunists of the highest order but luckily they do not engage outside of the internet. They have no idea how to organize and they have never actually spoken to real Trump supporters and they think all American proletarians are white, conservative MAGA Christians who swing big hammers or farm. Just completely dismissive of the giant working class population of minorities living in the inner cities that almost completely detest Trump’s campaign and that by pedaling MAGA bullshit they are alienating them.
