The genocide is still ongoing and many things are still developing in Palestine, but we are removing the limitation on only posting things related to the operation Flood of Al-Aqsa to this thread, you can now freely post over Lemmygrad again.
Please don’t stop talking about Palestine.
Due to popular demand, please keep all posts about the operation to this megathread, sitewide.
“Israel” can’t seem to decide whether they want a ground invasion or not, so expect conflicting reports until there is video confirmation of their criminals moving into Gaza.
On the one hand, they realize this is the only thing they can do to actually “finish” Gaza once and for all. Otherwise it’s still just bombing. Gaza will rebuild. On the other hand, they also know from the two times they went into Gaza that it’s a very, very bad idea. Absolutely terrible idea.
But what else can the occupation government do, when its ratings are at an all-time low? Not only did they fail to prevent the Flood, the bombing campaign will have to either stop or evolve.
I wonder what’s stopping them. Official reason right now is ‘bad weather’ lol.
Terrible weather, it’s raining bullets on them when they step into Gaza.
Going into Gaza seems to be the only way forward from this bombing campaign and if they want to regain some popularity with their settlers but if they do, it will end with their loss. The two times the occupier went into Gaza they got driven out and suffered huge losses. Bibi’s government can’t take another loss, especially after the Flood was so catastrophic for him.
What resources and abilities to defend do the Palestinians have? I understand that with Hamas and some other groups they have some sort of defence force, but are the regular Palestinians that ready to defend themselves?
It’s not that every regular Palestinian would have a weapon (I doubt they have the resources or the desire to arm civilians), it’s that every moving shape in the darkness or sound you hear could be a resistance fighter ready to destroy you, which leads you to being very jumpy and thus ineffective in combat. Also having to deal with civilians throwing rocks at you is distracting as well.
Well that and also Palestinians are both unwilling and unable to leave if the IOF decides to go in. Where would they go in case of an invasion? They can’t leave Gaza either way.
The general public in the neocolony disapproves of its government?
Wow.
Where can I learn more about the other tines they went in?
