They just can’t rest with knowledge of place where their bullshit is not welcome.
In my experience, they hate anything to the left of them because liberalism gives them the chance to feel morally superior without sacrificing their own comfort. They need to feel morally superior, but they hate anything that would suggest they might have to be less comfortable to achieve it.
