i have no idea but it probably has something to do with their fear of hezbollah conducting a military operation against them over disputed gas fields, which involves the palestinians because israel also wants to steal from gas fields that are in waters in the gaza strip. might also just generally have to do with iran’s increasing regional influence, and/or a general response to increasing palestinian resistance that i’ve heard about
