The fact that Mexico is very openly pivoting away from the west is probably why US politicians are now openly floating the idea of invading Mexico. The joint parade with Russia and China is a not so subtle message to the US in my opinion. And likely the reason US media isn’t covering it is precisely because US doesn’t know how to respond to that.
