are the americans really this insane? the answer is absolutely, yes. western society as a whole has been rotten for such a long time that it’s made many of their people malicious, ignorant, and dogmatic.

sometimes i wonder if attempting to educate and understand these people is a waste of time, but i try to remind myself that people are only a product of their environment and their past experiences, and with new experiences, things can change.

in the meantime, as someone from a formerly colonized nation, all i can really do is ignore their hatred and focus on making positive change happen where i live. because they are far beyond my help
