To get weapons from Iran (their main backer) they need to smuggle them through US puppet government controlled ports and territory and also hide them from the numerous Al Qaeda/ISIS type militias that do road checkpoints along the desertic roads. And yet, they have managed to shoot rockets at fucking Dubai. Meanwhile the “heroic ukrainians” have basically infinite weapons from NATO and easy supply routes straight from the EU, and yet have achieved nothing besides hitting a few civilian areas in Donbass, Crimea and Rostov (very heroic i know). They are probably the most ineffective military in the world when you take resources into account lol
