    Agreed!

Sorry, like I said, I didn’t mean that the person was wrong about what’s going on in the USA right now, just that he probably wasn’t the “right person” to say so, if you catch my drift.

But yes, I agree; we could very well be looking at a coup d’etat.

Yeah, I definitely hear what you’re saying. I’m pretty sure the coup itself will fail because it’s being done by utterly incompetent clowns. However, what’s more interesting is the amount of broad support these people have. A considerable chunk of the population rejects the election results, and the whole system hinges on majority of the people agreeing with the transfer of power.

Meanwhile, the distress is rooted in rapidly deteriorating material conditions of the people. Biden administration has no meaningful plans to address the underlying problems that led up to this. I expect the tensions are only going to continue to rise until violence inevitably erupts.

If Biden becomes President or Trump gets his coup, they would both be hamstrung by the political situation in the country. Either way, while they may be incompetent, they have a lot of power at their disposal. I wouldn’t put it past Trump being successful with his coup, for example. But we’ll see where things lead.
