For me it’s my friend who has no capacity to measure reason or judge morals . When presented two opposing arguments, no matter how bad one is compared to the other, he will by default consider both to be equally viable and equally correct / incorrect and will advocate for a middle alternative between the two. That’s all the effort he puts into a debate, just perform the mathematival operation of the average between two numbers.
