There is value in knowing exactly your opponent’s weapon’s capabilities even if you can already replicate or exceed them.
They could make way more effective and cheaper antimissile systems if they knew what was in our cruise missiles. They could find a weakness to exploit to use in an EM attack, for example.
Iran would kill to dissect one of these and they have more battle tested missile systems than China.
