Bill Maher had a guest on that talked about the “perils of social media” or some such. And I couldn’t help but get the feeling that they were both advocating the censorship of social media in general. They lambasted “conspiracy theories” and “misninformation,” but also talked in a foreboding manner of China and Russia. What do they count as “conspiracy theories” and “misinformation?” They’ll take measures to curb our speech.
