Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett emphasizes that Israel is facing a “collapse” and demands a swift replacement of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet.
“From Washington DC I report that Israel is collapsing,” Bennett stressed, in a post on his X account issued on Sunday.
He also stressed that the only way out of “this hole” is to replace this destructive cabinet, led by Netanyahu, as soon as possible.
" The only way out of this crisis is to replace this destructive cabinet with another and begin a new path ," the former Israeli prime minister emphasized.
Attempting to cover up the crimes and siege imposed by Israel on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, he said Israel is facing accusations from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) and the UN.
After criticizing the positions of Netanyahu’s cabinet ministers, he asserted that the aforementioned Israeli officials are inflicting “terrible damage” with reckless statements like “We are going to destroy Gaza” and “We must drop a nuclear bomb on Gaza,” simply to gain political support among their constituents.
“Israel’s position on the diplomatic and media fronts is crumbling, and cabinet ministers are making absurd statements that harm Israel’s security,” he stressed.
Referring to the prolongation of the Israeli war in Gaza launched in October 2023 and the recovery of the Palestinian resistance, he raised this question: “How is it possible that, almost two years later, Hamas is still imposing conditions on us?”
Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October, at least 59,821 Palestinians have been killed and more than 144,000 injured.
