    I don’t get why they can’t just say what scent it is and let people make their own choice.

    Scents with gender is a really weird and unnecessary thing in general. Why are male fragrances called cologne and female fragrances called perfume? They smell pretty much the goddamn same and have the same production process!

      he touches on that in the video: because men have fragile egos which need to be coddled and reassured that anything short of being encrusted in mud a shit all day isn’t somehow [looks around nervously]“gay”.

      women, in fact, don’t like to be marketed to in this way due to the association with what they consider to be negative gender stereotypes.

      No, you can’t say “Vertiver and Ylang-Ylang” you have to say “Ocean Breeze”, you can’t say “Cedar, Sage, and Bergamot”, you need to say “WOODSMAN MASCULINE TESTOSTERONE”
