Miami born Daniel Noboa, following his god-king Trump, announces tariffs on Mexican imports. He even copies Trump “they’re not treating us fairly” excuse, and cites that Mexico is abusing ecuatorian producers.
In 2024, the trade balance between both countries accounts for merely $108M USD in favor of Mexico.
The main product Mexico exports to Ecuador is medicine and chemicals used to produce medicaments.
This comes the day after he proudly announces a trade agreement with Canada 😅 Noboa is giving a masterclass on 21th century compradorism.
Canada trade balance with Ecuador is of $226M USD in favor of Canada, meanwhile trade balance with Mexico is just $108M USD in favor of Mexico.
What a comprador…
Ecuador doesn’t have diplomatic relations with Mexico, ever since dictator wannabe failson Daniel Noboa ordered the invasion of the Mexican Embassy to illegaly arrest and torture former VP Jorge Glas.
Meanwhile Noboa “owns” the Mexican Goverment, his country is under heavy forest fires and lacking eletricity, while gangs and cartels run around killing innocent people. Even his own VP, a far-right zionist btw, even her got attacked by Noboa because she dared to take control of the Presidency while Noboa was preparing for the 2025 Presidential Elections. He removed Verónica Abad Rojas, the VP, from power but the congress (which is under control of the Democratic Socialists), voted to keep her in power and for her to assume the presidency.
What’s insane is most polls indicate he will be elected again. This country is wild.
They’ve been viciously fed anti-correa propaganda, when its obvious that ecuador crumbled after correa. Social media bots really control the perception of reality of the masses.
Still i wouldnt trust these polls, theyre always biased by whoever pays for them, for example in Mexico polls had the opposition candidate winning and she ended up losing by an historical margin 😅 its a way to manufacture a “they stole the election” narrative.
Yeah, all good points. My mother in law calls everyone a Correaista now, it’s honestly hilarious. She thinks I’m a communist because “I don’t know any better.”
