No, you don’t understand. He doesn’t want people stealing his look! It’s just like the haircut.

It’s working. Most people I work with (who rarely get up to speed with international news) will believe anything about North Korea. The other day someone I work with told me that North Korea had to set up dog farms for food, because everybody’s starving.

That’s such a weird thing to believe. Dogs need to be fed something. If you have enough food to feed dogs en masse in a farming scenario then how do you not have enough food to feed yourself? The further up you go in the food chain the more energy is wasted along the way. It’s pretty basic general knowledge that you get more calories out of eating plants directly than feeding them to farm animals and then eating those farm animals. Of course that’s not always feasible because humans don’t necessarily eat what other animals eat, but when it comes to dogs i think they are far enough up the food chain that the things you have to feed them are fairly nutritionally similar to the things that humans would eat.

it takes ten times as much energy debunking bullshit than it takes to create bullshit

If everyone were starving, dogs wouldn’t even be the best animal to raise.

If you want efficienct conversion of feed to meat, you are going to get way more from poultry or fish. Insects would be probably the best, they convert extremely efficiently. Especially if you consider that they can process things that we cannot necessarily.

If anything, they should be saying that people are having to rely on insect farms. There is nothing wrong with that, I like most insects I have eaten, but you would probably trigger roughly the same revulsion the propaganda is designed to elicit while being far more believeable.

He banned weed, unlike the UK where it’s a class above physically addictive benzos

Reminds of an old bit of propaganda; that weed is naturally widespread in the DPRK(probably true I know it used to be in China) and that people and specifically soldiers would smoke massive doinks all day to deal with hunger which is just counter-intuitive

They have long since found out that people will believe absolutely anything about the DPRK. People think that everyone pushes trains to work (instead of walking) and have state mandated haircuts.

Even if you post factual evidence to the contrary, the thing that gets labelled as propaganda is the refutation. Obviously people can’t possibly all be housed, it is far more like that 50% of the population of DPRK are paid actors that just really care what people from the US think!
