If you ask me, if this is how they want to go at it, the rest of the world should ensure that Europe freezes and de-industrializes to death. Hopefully the heroes of resistance can ensure that no extraction facilities can stay standing long enough to steal even a barrel of oil from the Palestinians, it being offshore might hopefully make it less secure.
Even the ecological risk honestly doesn’t matter- the devils are already behind countless ecological disasters, and through their terrorism against Nordstream only recently showed the world they would happily cause even more while sweeping it under the rug and calling it even a good thing. The environment has to come second, or rather, the environment/ecosystem cannot and will not survive so long as imperialism does. I wasn’t sure from where to begin, as it is a complicated matter, so at the time of the other comment I madeI just wanted to clear up the part about the genocide of the Palestinian people being “just” because of gas when gas might be just a bonus. The whole genocide is a lot more due to control of the very hydrocarbon rich region through colonialism, so the US can keep their empire in a strong position due to control of such valuable resources, and very likely racism in many different forms, from people wanting jews out of their countries to wanting to subjugate and destroy everyone in the region as many see them as “terrorists” and nothing more, there’s also the goals of the colonists who want that land because they want to feel special while they don’t want to share the land with the owners and probably some other reasons too.

Oh, now I get it why you made that comment, the way I wrote it implied it was the sole reason for it. The Palestinian genocide was already happening before the discovery of gas reserves in the Mediterranean Sea in early 2000’'s and later mid 2010’s. However I believe the main reason the active war against Palestinians is happening now and not 10 years ago is because of the war in Ukraine, which affected the gas distribution of Europe.
US/Europe, through its satellite imperialist rogue state Israel, is trying to secure gas reserves alternative to Russian gas products. I shit you not, in the same month of the Oct 7 attack, Israel handed 12 licenses to European gas companies. It can’t get more glaring obvious than that. The zones which are being given concessions for gas exploration are located precisely adjacent to the shores of Gaza.
