    Yeah, I remember ages ago when I was looking for a communist discussion space online and saw people talking about raddle. Very quickly realized that they’re probably the most insufferable, anti-materialist anarchists I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing.

      Only reason I even went there was because I thought it was a potential location for reddits CTH exodus.

      First post I saw was Ghislaine Maxwell and Kevin Spacey on the Queen’s throne titled “Just a couple of crazy kids.” Some dipshit by the username tequila_wolf took it upon himself to chide OP for the grievous crime of using ableist language like “crazy.”

      While I agree with the sentiment “we shouldn’t be ableist,” I disagree with the whole concept of proscribing language, I disagree with the attitude these people have where saying “crazy” or “idiot” is literally a bad as the N word.

      So of course I leave a snide “That’s crazy!” in response.

      Oh, woops, Tequila_Wolf is an admin, and he instantly banned me for 7 fucking days.

      If they’re gonna ban over shit like that I literally might as well just go to r/socialism or whatever. The laissez faire modding and general irreverence was something that set CTH apart from other lefty spaces, and without that environment… there’s pretty much no difference between it and LateStageCapitalism or whatever.
