Which is doubly duplicitous because the era of “Republican leaders get their party to fall in line, Democrat leaders have to herd cats” ended long ago. These days, it’s the Republicans who can be disruptive and undermine leadership and get rewarded for it, while it’s the Democrat leadership has an iron grip on the party.

    Al Gore

The 2000 election was stolen from him partly due to the actions of Dubya’s brother, who was governor of Florida at the time. Jeb stopped the count right when ballots that were from counties favorable to Gore started to come. And this is not even getting into the Supreme Court’s role in handling the presidency to Dubya.

It has nothing to do “voter apathy” or anything related to Gore really (outside of him capitulating and taken the blatant theft like a complete chump). The 2000 election was a fraud election. “Uh aktually we have to vote enough that the GOP can’t have room to steal the election” is loser shit, which is why blue MAGA has to pretend the 2000 election was legitimate like the pathetic losers they are. At least red MAGA has it in them to say that the 2020 election was stolen while blue MAGA can’t even question the legitimacy of the 2000 election results.

If the democrats gave a shit at all about democracy they should have been calling this a coup and arresting Bush. Same shit they should have done after the capital riots. But they don’t actually give a shit about democracy, so they didn’t bother doing anything.

Instead they charge Trump with lying about giving money to a prostitute. Like who gives a shit. Liberals love to call him “convicted felon” as if that’s the worst thing someone can be (oh no, a minor crime! How terrible). Obviously they can’t call him a war criminal for funding drone strikes in Yemen or killing Soleimani, because they approve of that.

I can’t even. True, the genocide is old, THAT SHOULD BE THE MOST HORRIBLE THING YOU EVER READ DIPSHITS NOT A GOTCHA ELECTION SLOGANS FOR YOUR HITLER.

Reading that thread, i remember thinking how bernie bros are the mildest vague socdems in history of the world, but since then the rest of usian libs moved so far right they look like turbocommies in comparison.

Still remember Americans claiming Bernie was “so left it hurts.” Bernie would be considered center-left in my country too to be fair, but he’d be on the more conservative end of the leftist coalition compared to the Communist and DemSoc politicians.

TBF there’s a bunch of progressives shredding this obvious bullshit with basic democratic electoral memory but there is obviously a concerted effort to shill for Biden on that comm in particular.

Today I learned that voters have to vote for candidates this person likes no matter how shit they are. Only choice is Hitler? My party does not have to ‘appeal’ to you, go vote for him already you slave.

“Not likeable” “Not exciting” “Too condescending”

How about talking about actual policies instead of superficial vibes? You could even say this is how Bush got popular, since they were able to paint a silver spoon Ivy League failson as a ranch country Texas aw shucks guy who you’d want to have a beer with. Not to mention Trump, a guy who’s never worked a real job in his life, as some tough champion of the working class. Fucking liberals.

Al Gore let the election get stolen from him. Kerry never stood a chance in 04, W had that one in the bag going in,. 'd rather see Trump in office than Hillary.
