I am not into Batman lore but from The Dark Knight movie, it seems clear that Wayne Enterprises did work for the US military (most polluting organization in the world) in some capacity. So it makes zero sense in trying to explain this to Batfash.

An eco fascist is not just someone who is willing to commit violence for the sake of environmental protection.
