    Belgium alone had something like 80k deaths. That’s 15 times as much as China as a whole. In a country the twice the size of the city of Beijing with a population of 11 mil.

    Edit: for some reason the Belgium death count seems to be adjusted to 33k. I remember very clearly that it was 78k at some point. Still, it would mean it’s almost 7 times higher than China’s. No idea why it was changed with such a huge amount.

      And I remember the scenes on the Dutch media, with rows and rows of hearses and morticians saying they can’t ever keep up with the amounts of death people coming in.

      But at least we could go shopping. Those people can’t anymore, but we can.
